We offer supportive care services to you and your family. These are the services you can expect from our qualified staff of nurses, caregivers, personal care attendants and caregivers.

All employees at A Miracle Home Care take pride in their work and client relationships. We strive to keep everyone involved in their community, family and friends. Most of the aides live and work with their neighbors and have developed close relationships over the years.

Skilled Care Services

We work with each patient, family and physicians to determine a treatment plan. RN Case Managers are always assigned to every patient to coordinate and monitor of home-care procedures. Having the proper plan and somebody on your side ensures proper medical care, and all tasks are done by certified caregivers.

Skilled nursing care at home is a great alternative to staying in a nursing care facility, or nursing home. When your family member requires complicated medical assistance, we are able to help. Visiting nurses provide help with the many tasks, such as:

Post Operation Wound Care
Changing of dressings and bandages
Dispensing and monitoring intravenous medications
Insulin Injections
Catheter Care
Osotomy and Colostomy assistance
Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at home

Meda-Care Transportation Services

We provide a range of transportation services including non-emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) and private transportation services.

Non-emergency medical transportation: Medicaid and select private insurances accepted. Rides to and from medical appointments (wheelchair ramp equip van). Our drivers our safety trained and certified.

Private transportation: any social events, airport rides, casino, sporting events, shopping, hair appointment, etc.

Our non-emergency transportation service is different from the rest because we care! We genuinely want every patient to have access to a friendly, compassionate transportation service they feel they can rely on. We add a personal touch, ensuring that our clients feel safe and relaxed during their journey and their caregivers feel confident that their loved one is left in good hands.

Meda-Care takes the safety of our clients extremely seriously. All of our drivers have background checks and are thoroughly trained before they are allowed to work with us. We use tracking equipment to monitor the speed and safety of the trip, as well as random testing to ensure our drivers are sober and drug free at all times. Each member of our team is dedicated to providing punctual, safe, comfortable and courteous service, ensuring every client enjoys a premium experience when they choose to travel with us.

Personal Care

Since 2000, A Miracle Homecare has been a trusted partner for many families. We are there for you, when in need of daily assistance, help with a chronic condition, recovering from illness or for companionship. There are many funding sources available to help you in these trying times. Our team has a long relationship with the Ohio Council on Aging, and we are able to work with Case Managers to secure the best care for your family. We use Ohio State funded and private programs to help with your needs.

Laundry and Ironing

We are experts at laundry and ironing. Following these steps, our aides ensure the client always wears clean clothes.

Sort laundry by color, dark, light and white articles
Sort laundry by fabric to wash at different temperatures
Check that all pockets are empty
Pre-soak heavily stained items
Using the recommended temperature and detergent load items into washing machine
Remove washed items and promptly dry in dryer or hang for air-drying
Fold or hang dry items
Iron items that need to be ironed like pants, skirts and blouses

Kitchen Cleaning

Kitchen is the heart of your house. Our aides will ensure your kitchen is sparkling clean so you spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying food.

Scrape off all the dishes into the trash or garbage disposal
Run a sink of hot, soapy water
Scrape off all the dishes into the trash or garbage disposal
Place dishes that need to soak into the water
Go through the kitchen clearing out trash from your floor, counter-top, cupboards, etc
Gather and remove all the items that do not belong in the kitchen
Load the dishwasher or wash by hand
Wash down your counter-top, appliances, and sink
Sweep and mop, or vacuum
Wipe counter-top with disinfectant wipe
Take out the trash

Light Housekeeping

Our aides make sure the home is neat and organized. We perform light housekeeping with every visit so your home is free of clutter.

Pick up loose items and put them in place
Wash couch covers, blankets and throws, if needed
Replace batteries in remotes and other everyday electronic devices, if needed
Clean and arrange dining area
Vacuum rugs and carpet, mop floors
Wipe glass surfaces with cleaner
Wipe dust from surfaces
Take out trash

Change Bedding and Linens

Getting a good night’s rest is very important. Sleep comfortably knowing your linens are clean and fresh.

Remove used bed sheets, pillow cases or duvet cover
Put on clean set of sheets, pillow cases, covers
Wash items in laundry machine
Wash blankets or comforter if needed
Dry items in the dryer
Remove and fold bed set

Bathroom Cleaning

Clean bathrooms are an important part of personal hygiene and overall health. We take the steps to ensure our clients enjoy a clean and healthy house.

Remove all dirty clothing
Empty trash can
Clean the sink with disinfectant wipe
Clean the bathtub with disinfectant wipe
Using a toilet brush and toilet cleaner, scrub out the inside of the toilet
Using glass cleaner wipe down the mirror and other glass surfaces
Pickup all the items belonging in another room
Return items that belong in the bathroom to their proper places
Sweep or mop the floor

Meal Preparation

Once a senior parent or disabled family member can no longer cook a nourishing meal for themselves, it won’t be long before their health suffers. Our aides help prepare complete, nutritionally balanced meals.

You have taken on the important role of the family caregiver. Your loved ones depend on you for daily assistance. As the primary caregiver, you need personal time away. Respite care programs provide planned breaks for families and primary caregivers. The emotional, physical and financial consequences of taking care of a loved can be overwhelming without support, such as respite. You can go to doctor appointments, counseling sessions and support group meetings. This time off is necessary to unwind, recharge the batteries and take care of important personal matters. You can relax knowing your family is taken care of, when you need to shop, attend a child’s event, go to lunch with a friend or just to exercise outdoors.

We can help with short-term as well as long-term respite care. Our aides provide overnight and 24-hour care for your family. If you need to go on vacation, wedding, reunion or other multi-day family events, we are there to provide care. You can enjoy time away knowing our caregiver’s skills are carefully matched to your family’s needs. We have helped many families with Alzheimer’s care, Multiple Sclerosis, Lou Gehrig’s disease and Bariatric care. According to a survey by the Commonwealth Fund, 60% of the caregivers reported fair or poor health, one or more chronic condition or a disability, compared with only 33% of non caregivers. Respite assistance has shown benefits to the family caregiver health and well-being and helps with family relationships and help sustain marriages.
